Yong Yandsen 2016 Japan Tour

Malaysian free improvising tenor saxophonist Yong Yandsen will be touring Japan from April 20-28, 2016. Yong Yandsen is one the leading experimental musicians in South-East Asia with a distinctive and highly-expressive voice on the tenor that is draws elements from Kaoru Abe, Albert Alyer and John Butcher. He will be joined on the tour by Tokyo-based musicians Daysuke Takaoka on tuba and Darren Moore on drums as well as other guests including Tetuzi Akiyama, Hirose Junji, Reona Otsuka, Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, Yuji Ishihara, Tim Olive and Takuji Naka.

マレーシアの即興テナー・サックス奏者Yong Yandsenが4/20-4/28まで日本ツアーを開催、個性的で表現力豊かな奏法で、東南アジアでも有数の実験的なミュージシャンとして阿部薫やアルバートアイラー、ジョンブッチャーと同様に評価されている。

今回の来日ツアーでは秋山徹次、広瀬淳二、レオナ、山本達久、石原雄治、ティム・オリーブと中琢爾との共演予定。今回のライブでは高岡大祐（tuba）、ダレンムーア(drums)と共演。スペシャルゲストにレオナ（tap dance）を招きました。
